Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Produce drawings using computer assisted drafting systems (CAD) or drafting. Draft plans and detailed drawings for structures, installations, and construction projects. Draw maps, diagrams, and profiles, using cross-sections and surveys, to represent elevations, topographical contours, subsurface formations and structures. Correlate, interpret, and modify data obtained from topographical surveys, well logs and geophysical prospecting reports. Finish and duplicate drawings and documentation packages, according to required mediums and specifications for reproduction, using blueprinting or other duplicating methods. Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from civil engineers to ensure that they conform to design concepts. Conduct field surveys, inspections or technical investigations to obtain data required to revise construction drawings. Determine the order of work and method of presentation, such as orthographic or isometric drawing. Calculate measurements from drawings / scope & BOQ as & when required in a manner directed by PE / PM. Determine quality, cost, strength and quantity of required materials, and enter figures on materials lists. Any other duties assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.

Requirements:

Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience as a Landscape CAD Draftsman in Gulf countries, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar programs, with advanced skills in drafting and detailing. Deep understanding of landscape design principles, plant materials, construction techniques, and horticultural practices relevant to the Gulf Region.
