Job Summary:

The Joinery Draughtsman is responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings for custom joinery, furniture, and interior fit-out works. The role requires strong technical knowledge of joinery production methods, materials, and finishes, as well as the ability to interpret design concepts into precise manufacturing drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare

detailed shop drawings, assembly drawings, and cutting lists

for all joinery and furniture works. Interpret

architectural and interior design drawings

to develop fabrication details. Coordinate with the

design, production, and site teams

to ensure accurate implementation. Ensure all drawings comply with

project specifications, dimensions, and tolerances

. Prepare

sectional, plan, elevation, and detailed joinery drawings

for approval and fabrication. Work closely with

production teams

to clarify design and technical issues during manufacturing. Update drawings based on

client or consultant comments

and maintain proper document control. Ensure the use of correct

materials, finishes, and fittings

as per project requirements. Support

site teams

with as-built drawings and technical clarifications. Maintain records of drawing revisions and drawing issue logs.

Requirements:

Diploma or certification in

Architecture / Interior Design / Civil or Mechanical Engineering

or equivalent. Minimum

10 years of experience

as a

Joinery Draughtsman

in

interior fit-out or furniture manufacturing companies

(preferably in the GCC). Strong knowledge of

joinery construction techniques, materials, and finishes

. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

(mandatory), with working knowledge of

SketchUp / Revit / 3D software

an advantage. Ability to read and interpret

architectural and interior design drawings

accurately. Good understanding of

hardware, veneers, laminates, and finishing processes

. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred:

UAE or GCC experience

in high-end joinery or interior fit-out projects. Familiarity with

production and factory coordination processes

. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
