The Fit-Out Draughtsman is responsible for preparing accurate and detailed shop drawings, coordination layouts, and as-built drawings for interior fit-out projects. The role requires strong technical drawing skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of materials, finishes, and site conditions to ensure seamless execution of design intent.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare
detailed fit-out and interior shop drawings
including partitions, ceilings, flooring, furniture layouts, and finishes.
Interpret
architectural and interior design drawings
and convert them into detailed working drawings for site execution.
Coordinate with
MEP, structural, and joinery teams
to ensure complete drawing integration.
Prepare
as-built drawings
reflecting actual site conditions and modifications.
Ensure all drawings are in compliance with
project specifications, design intent, and authority standards
.
Revise and update drawings based on
consultant/client feedback and site changes
.
Support the project team by providing
technical details, sections, and joinery integration drawings
.
Maintain
drawing logs, revision records, and document control
.
Attend
coordination meetings
when required to clarify drawing-related issues.
Work closely with
site engineers and designers
to ensure accuracy and constructability of designs.
