Job Summary

As a Draughtsman, you will produce accurate and detailed technical drawings--ranging from architectural and MEP layouts to infrastructure and civil designs. Using CAD (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, etc.), you'll translate engineer/architect briefs into high?quality plans for construction, fabrication, or manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Draft detailed 2D and 3D drawings, shop drawings, as-built plans, schedules, assembly instructions, and BOQs. Coordinate with engineers, architects, MEP consultants, and site teams to clarify requirements and ensure accurate designs. Perform site visits and take measurements for verification and revisions Manage and update drawing registers, revision logs, technical documentation, and archives. Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and client specifications. Detect design clashes in MEP integration and provide solutions during coordination meetings. Contribute to quantity take?offs, estimating, and cost-saving initiatives. Participate in design reviews, support prototyping/testing, and assist during construction phase. Stay updated on drafting tools, software, standards, and UAE regional codes
Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's in Architectural / Civil / Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline Proven experience (1-5?years), UAE/GCC experience preferred, in MEP, architectural, mechanical, or civil drafting roles. Proficiency with CAD software: AutoCAD mandatory; Revit MEP/Architectural, SolidWorks, Inventor, Tekla, 3D Max considered a plus. Strong technical skills in drafting standards, dimensioning, material specification, and assembly detailing. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, and ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams. Experience with UAE building codes and local regulations is highly advantageous
Preferred Attributes

UAE/GCC regulatory exposure (Dubai, Abudhabi) Knowledge in BIM workflows, GIS, or advanced CAD tools. Background in construction, infrastructure, or manufacturing environments Certification in drafting (e.g., ADDA) or related professional training.
