Prepare accurate and detailed shop drawings for glass and glazing systems using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
Interpret architectural and structural plans to develop glass fabrication and installation drawings.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and installers to ensure drawing accuracy and constructability.
Revise and update drawings based on client feedback, design changes, or field adjustments.
Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and supporting documentation.
Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a draftsperson, preferably in the glass, facade, or construction industry.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit or other CAD software is a plus.
Strong understanding of glass systems, materials, and installation processes.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
