Job Description
Black & Grey HR is currently recruiting for a general contracting company in the UAE. Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join their team. The Draftsman will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed technical drawings based on specifications and calculations provided by architects and engineers. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Plan Swift software, as well as a strong understanding of engineering and architecture principles, are crucial for the successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Create accurate and detailed technical drawings based on specifications and calculations provided by architects and engineers.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Plan Swift software to prepare both rough sketches and detailed work.
- Perform calculations to determine materials and weight limitations.
- Communicate effectively with architects and engineers, incorporating their knowledge into the drawings.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to review, prepare, and redraft drawings as needed.
- Ensure that final designs comply with building regulations and codes.
- Identify and communicate potential design problems to the rest of the team.
- Coordinate drawings between various trades involved in the project.
