Job Description
We are looking to expand our operations and are seeking an experienced and motivated Draftsman - Interior design & Fitout work to join our dynamic team. As an Interior design & Fitout work Draftsman, you will play a pivotal role in the design and planning phase of our projects. You will collaborate with our project management and design teams to produce detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints that guide the execution of interior fit-out and joinery work. Your attention to detail and expertise in drafting software will be essential in ensuring the successful completion of our projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and Design: Create detailed Interior design & Fitout work drawings and plans using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD).
- Project Coordination: Collaborate closely with architects, designers, and project managers to ensure that the drafting aligns with the project\'s vision and specifications.
- Material Selection: Assist in the selection of appropriate materials and finishes to achieve the desired aesthetic and functional outcomes.
- Quality Assurance: Review and verify drawings for accuracy, compliance with building codes, and adherence to project standards.
- Documentation: Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation to track changes and ensure up-to-date information.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and clients to address design modifications and incorporate feedback.
- Problem Solving: Identify and address design challenges and propose solutions to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in interior fit-out and joinery design.
- 3+ years of proven experience as a draftsman in the Interior design & Fitout work and joinery industry working on high end commercial & residential projects in the UAE.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in drafting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A degree or certification in architecture, interior design, or a related field is preferred but not required.
