Draftsman - Power Plant Operations
Sundus is seeking a skilled Draftsman to support power plant operations in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for updating and providing as-built drawings, assessing piping routes, structures, and other system items, and ensuring all documentation is accurately maintained.

Key Responsibilities
- Interface with lead engineers from maintenance, operations, and engineering to define and implement drawing updates based on the existing power plant arrangement
- Execute drawing modifications and updates as per plant changes
- Manage and organize the Management of Change (MOC) process by closing pending requests and reviewing previously closed ones
- Create new technical drawings from scratch when required
- Understand power plant processes and provide accurate drafting expertise
- Conduct drawing reviews, checking for accuracy and compliance with technical standards
- Perform field evaluations to assess plant systems and translate findings into technical drawings
- Provide updated documentation and technical drawings for mechanical, electrical, and structural teams
Required Skills and Experience
- Technical qualification in mechanical, structural, and/or electrical drafting
- Minimum of 5 years of drafting experience in power generation
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD for mechanical, piping, structural, and/or electrical system drafting
- Familiarity with chemical and power generation processes
- Field drafting experience with the ability to assess plant systems on-site and reflect changes in drawings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Maximo software for asset and maintenance management
