About the Role
We are a leading landscaping company in the UAE, dedicated to creating stunning, sustainable, and innovative green spaces across the region. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the technical backbone of our projects, transforming conceptual designs into precise, buildable drawings that guide our construction teams to excellence.
Key Responsibilities

• Technical Drawing & Detailing:
• Prepare comprehensive and accurate landscape design drawings, including master plans, detailed layouts, hardscape details, and softscape plans.
• Develop detailed irrigation and drainage system layouts.
• Create construction details, sections, and elevations for various landscape elements (e.g., pergolas, decks, water features, retaining walls).
• Generate grading plans and material schedules.
• Coordination & Collaboration:
• Work closely with Landscape Architects, Project Managers, and Site Engineers to understand project requirements and design intent.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (MEP, Civil) to integrate their requirements into the landscape drawings.
• Incorporate red-line markups and feedback from the project team into revised drawings promptly and accurately.
• Project Support:
• Assist in the preparation of tender and construction document packages.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to company standards, project specifications, and relevant UAE regulations.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting established deadlines.
• Maintain an organized library of drawing files, blocks, and standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 4-5 years of professional experience as a Draftsman.
• Proven experience in the landscaping industry is mandatory.
• UAE experience is highly preferred and will be prioritized.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Experience with other software such as SketchUp, Lumion, or Adobe Creative Suite is a significant advantage.
• Strong understanding of landscape construction methods, materials, and horticultural practices.
• Core Competencies:
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing error-free, high-quality work.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively within a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
