Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled

Draftsman specialized in Joinery Works

to support our fit-out projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings, as-built drawings, and joinery manufacturing drawings for interior fit-out works, ensuring alignment with project specifications, client requirements, and production capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed

shop drawings

for all types of

custom joinery elements

including cabinets, wardrobes, doors, wall panels, reception counters, vanities, and other bespoke furniture. Develop

cutting lists

,

material take-offs

, and

assembly drawings

for production purposes. Coordinate with

interior designers, architects, and engineers

to ensure drawings comply with the design intent and technical requirements. Interpret and translate

architectural and ID drawings

into detailed fabrication drawings for the joinery workshop. Ensure compliance with

company standards

,

joinery techniques

, and

industry practices

. Perform

site surveys

when necessary to gather accurate dimensions and site conditions before drafting. Modify and revise drawings as per project manager/client/shop floor feedback. Collaborate with the

production team

to resolve design or technical issues during the manufacturing phase. Maintain organized drawing records and update drawings throughout the project lifecycle. Produce

as-built drawings

upon project completion.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in

Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering

, or related field. Minimum

1-3 years experience

in joinery detailing for

interior fit-out projects

. Proficient in

AutoCAD

, and preferably with knowledge of

SketchUp

,

Revit

, or other

3D

tools. Strong knowledge of

joinery materials

(wood, veneer, laminate, MDF, plywood, etc.),

hardware

, and

construction techniques

. Good understanding of

architectural drawings

,

BOQs

, and

technical specifications

. Ability to read and interpret

design drawings

and translate them into

manufacturing details

. Attention to detail and high accuracy in technical drawing production. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience in UAE/GCC region or knowledge of local joinery/furniture standards. Familiarity with CNC-friendly drawing techniques is a plus. Strong communication skills to coordinate with different teams (design, project, production).

Working Conditions:

Based in Office Occasional site visits as required.
