Key Job Responsibilities:1. Technical Drafting:
Prepare detailed
shop drawings

cutting lists

material take-offs
for joinery and fit-out works.
Develop
plans, elevations, sections, and detailed joinery drawings
based on architectural and interior design layouts.
Ensure all drawings comply with relevant
building codes, standards, and company protocols

2. Coordination:
Coordinate with
architects, interior designers, project managers, site engineers, and production teams
to understand design intent and resolve discrepancies.
Incorporate feedback from clients or consultants into revised drawings.
3. Material and Detail Knowledge:
Select and specify suitable
materials, finishes, and fittings
used in joinery (e.g., wood, laminate, veneer, hardware).
Provide
detailed joinery solutions
, including construction methods, fixings, and installation techniques.
4. Quality & Accuracy:
Ensure
precision and accuracy
in all drawings to minimize rework and material waste.
Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and approvals.
5. Software Proficiency:
Use AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other drafting and modeling tools to prepare 2D/3D drawings.
Familiarity with design documentation and sometimes BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools.
