Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Draftsman

with a strong background in

fit-out project works

, including commercial, retail, and high-end residential interiors. The ideal candidate must have

at least 7 years of proven experience in Qatar

, be familiar with local regulations and standards, and be

ready to relocate to Saudi Arabia

in the near future as the company expands its operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed shop drawings, as-built drawings, and layout plans for interior fit-out projects. Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and site teams to ensure design intent is accurately translated into construction documentation. Produce 2D CAD drawings and, if applicable, 3D visualizations for presentation and approval. Interpret architectural and engineering drawings, ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and standards. Modify and revise drawings as per project requirements or client feedback. Coordinate with MEP and other related disciplines to ensure drawing integration. Maintain organized documentation and version control of all drawings. Visit project sites when necessary to gather data or verify measurements. Provide technical support to procurement and construction teams.

Requirements:

Minimum 7

years of drafting experience in fit-out/interior projects

within Qatar. Strong proficiency in

AutoCAD

and other drafting/design software (SketchUp, Revit, or similar is a plus). Good understanding of

Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS)

and local authority approval processes (Ashghal, Civil Defense, etc.). Ability to interpret and understand architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach. Familiarity with materials, finishes, and fit-out construction techniques.

Valid Qatar ID and NOC

(mandatory if currently residing in Qatar). Strong communication and coordination skills.

Willingness to relocate to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)

in the near future.

Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Experience in high-end retail, hospitality, or corporate interior projects. Knowledge of 3D rendering tools or BIM processes is an added advantage.
