Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Architectural Draftsman - Fit Out is responsible for preparing detailed architectural drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for interior fit-out projects. The role ensures accuracy, compliance with design specifications, and coordination with other disciplines to deliver high-quality project documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed architectural and interior drawings including layouts, sections, elevations, and details for fit-out works. Develop and update shop drawings and as-built drawings based on design and site requirements. Coordinate with architects, interior designers, engineers, and project managers to ensure design intent is accurately reflected in the drawings. Review and interpret architectural and interior design plans, specifications, and project requirements. Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, local regulations, and project specifications. Assist in preparing material take-offs and support the design team during the execution phase. Revise drawings based on feedback from consultants, clients, or site conditions. Maintain proper filing and documentation of drawings and revisions. Support site teams by providing technical drawings and clarifications as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in architectural drafting, preferably in interior fit-out projects. Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, and other design software is an advantage. Strong understanding of interior detailing, joinery, finishes, and materials. Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organization skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
