Job Description

We are currently hiring a skilled ELV Draftsman to join our team . The ideal candidate will have solid experience in preparing shop drawings and detailed layouts for ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems, including CCTV, structured cabling, access control, SMATV/IPTV, AV systems, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare design/shop/as-built drawings for ELV, ICT, AV & Security systems including: CCTV System Access Control System Structured Cabling / Data Network IP Telephony System SMATV / IPTV Intercom System Audio/Visual Systems PA/BGM System Light Control Systems Guest Room Management Systems (GRMS) Master Clock and Gate Barrier Systems Produce sectional, elevation, and schematic diagrams. Design and layout of data centers and server rooms. Draft as per client requirements and technical specifications. Prepare quantity take-offs and BOQs for pricing and proposals. Ensure drawings comply with Etisalat, DU, TRA guidelines and consultant standards. Generate Wi-Fi heat maps and CCTV coverage maps. Support sales and technical teams with technical drawings and visual documentation. Interpret and apply technical specifications accurately. Organize and maintain drawing files and project documentation.

Requirements:

Diploma or related technical certification in Drafting, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant field. Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software. Strong understanding of ELV systems and industry standards. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Immediate availability is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in GRMS, AV, and Light Control System drawings. Familiarity with IFC and tender drawings for fiber/copper cable planning. Knowledge of UAE-specific project standards and authority regulations.
