Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Swimming Pool/Landscape 2D Draftsman to join our team. The 2D Draftsman will play a key role in translating design concepts into precise and comprehensive drawings for MEP Plans. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in drafting and expert level knowledge of sketch up software. Major Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Interpret and translate swimming pool design concepts provided by architects and engineers into detailed and accurate 2D. \xc2\xb7 Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or other specialized drafting tools, to create drawings for swimming pool structures, layouts, and related components. \xc2\xb7 Work closely with architects, landscape architects, and other design professionals to ensure accurate representation of design elements in drawings. \xc2\xb7 Ensure that swimming pool drawings comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety codes and industry standards. \xc2\xb7 Provide detailed drawings that include specifications for materials, dimensions, and construction methods relevant to swimming pool projects. \xc2\xb7 Make revisions to drawings based on feedback from design professionals, engineers, or changes in project specifications. \xc2\xb7 Assist in the preparation of quantity takeoffs and material lists for construction projects. \xc2\xb7 Preparing Pool and landscape shop drawing \xc2\xb7 Create architectural drawings and develop conceptual ideas, reference images. \xc2\xb7 Interact with consultants regarding changes and client requirements. \xc2\xb7 Prepare sketch up drawing, 2D layout, presentation. \xc2\xb7 Material selection and material palate \xc2\xb7 Prepare Paving pattern, Formation level plan, lighting layouts, construction drawings and detailed drawings. Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 Diploma or degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field. \xc2\xb7 Years of experience as a Draftsman, preferably with a focus on swimming pool & landscape projects. \xc2\xb7 Proficiency in Sketch Up Drawing software \xc2\xb7 Attention to detail and precision in creating accurate and clear drawings.
