Prepare detailed structural or architectural drawings (floor plans, elevations, sections, construction details) for building projects, ensuring design intent, accuracy, and alignment with specifications and codes.
Coordinate with engineers, architects, and site teams to integrate civil/architectural drawings with MEP and structural elements--updating revisions based on feedback and ensuring multidisciplinary alignment.
Prepare technical MEP shop drawings (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting systems) in 2D and 3D using tools like AutoCAD or Revit, based on design sketches and engineering calculations.
Manage design coordination and clash detection with architectural, interior, or structural teams--reviewing IFCs and specifications, resolving conflicts, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 4 years of experience as a Civil / Architect / MEP draftsman in the UAE.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or similar software is a plus.
Solid understanding of concrete and steel structural detailing.
Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
