Position Overview
The Architectural / Structural Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings, plans, and technical documents to support architectural and structural design projects. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Produce accurate architectural and structural drawings, plans, and models using CAD/BIM software.
Assist in developing construction documents, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure design accuracy.
Make revisions based on feedback and project requirements.
Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
Maintain organized documentation and file management.
Requirements
Minimum
2 years of experience
in architectural or structural drafting.
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
or similar drafting software.
Strong understanding of construction methods, building systems, and structural fundamentals.
Ability to interpret architectural/engineering sketches and convert them into detailed technical drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with BIM workflows.
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
Background in residential, commercial, or industrial projects (specify as needed).
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
