Our client is a Dubai-based G+12 licensed consultancy, operating within the domains of Engineering and Architecture. The office is currently involved in several ventures throughout UAE and India.
The Job
Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and detailed architectural, structural, and MEP drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
Assist in the development of design presentations and conceptual drawings using Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, and Lumion.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to ensure accuracy and compliance in design and documentation.
Translate conceptual sketches and designs into technical drawings as per project specifications.
Ensure that all drawings comply with Dubai Municipality (DM) and other local authorities' standards.
Support project teams during design development and construction documentation phases.
Modify and revise drawings based on feedback from architects, engineers, and regulatory authorities.
Maintain organized project files and drawing registers.
Ideal Candidate
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an engineering consultancy environment in the UAE.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, and Lumion.
Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, construction detailing, and materials.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
Preferred Skills
Diploma or bachelor's degree in architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience working with Dubai Municipality submissions and approvals.
Knowledge of BIM workflow is an added advantage.
