Position Overview:We are currently seeking a talented Draftsman and AutoCAD Designer to join the Al Diwan team. This role involves on-site visits to restaurants for measurements, collaborating with clients and stakeholders, and utilizing AutoCAD to craft detailed commercial kitchen layouts. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough site visits to accurately measure and assess available space in restaurant locations. Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and project managers to understand specific requirements and preferences. Utilize AutoCAD and other relevant design software to produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings of commercial kitchen layouts. Design equipment placement, ventilation systems, plumbing, and electrical layouts while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards. Provide technical support and clarification to clients and internal teams throughout the design and implementation phases. Work in collaboration with suppliers to ensure accurate representation of equipment specifications in the designs. Stay informed about industry trends, innovations, and emerging technologies to incorporate into designs. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Draftsman and AutoCAD Designer, preferably with a focus on commercial kitchen layouts. Proficient in AutoCAD, as well as other relevant design software. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise drawings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members. Knowledge of local building codes, health and safety regulations, and industry standards related to commercial kitchen design. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Previous experience with on-site measurements and assessments is a plus.
