Our client, a reputed company in Abu Dhabi is urgently looking for a Draftsman to be based in Abu Dhabi.

• Create architectural drawings based on building specifications, calculations, and sketches.

• Analyze building specifications, codes, space to create architectural design

• Use computer-aided drafting (CAD) software programs and equipment or a conventional drafting station to create and modify architectural documents, designs, working drawings, forms, charts and records

• Develop electrical and structural designs to incorporate into architectural drawings

• Work with Management Team to ensure that construction project is in accordance with design specifications

• Bring together structural, mechanical and electrical designs and create a way or a method of accurately arranging them to produce building designs that are understandable and feasible

• Draw detailed and rough scale plans for structures, foundations and buildings based upon preliminary concepts, sketches, specification sheets, engineering calculations and other provided data

• Check dimensions of materials to be used and assign numbers to list of materials

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree required

• 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with computer-assisted drawing (Auto CAD 2D, 3D) software

• 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Project

• Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)

• Demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness and integrity

• Ability to foster teamwork, working cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness

• Ability to make Decisions, assessing situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organisation

• Analytical thinking

• Experience with Following software Revit, 3Ds MAX / Lumion or any other Rendering software
