Domain Name Systems (dns) Support Specialist
Job Description
Responsibilities:-
*Manage and support internal and external DNS servers
*Monitor DNS infrastructure for performance, availability, and security using tools
*Troubleshoot and resolve DNS-related issues including resolution failures, propagation delays, and misconfigurations
*Perform domain and subdomain provisioning, deprovisioning, and migration tasks.
*Coordinate domain registration, renewal, and transfer processes with registrars and legal teams.
*Maintain an accurate inventory of domain assets and related metadata (ownership, expiration, use cases).
*Ensure DNS naming conventions and processes align with organizational policies and branding requirements.
*Provide guidance to business units on DNS best practices during product launches, mergers, or new service rollouts.
*Document DNS configurations, changes, and operational procedures for internal stakeholders and audit readiness.
*Support incident and change management processes as part of ITSM practices.
Qualification: Telecommunications engineering or relevant field.
Job Type: Contract
