The Documentation Specialist is responsible for creating, managing, reviewing, and maintaining high-quality documentation across the organization. This role ensures that all documents meet regulatory, quality, and internal standards, and are accessible, accurate, and up to date. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and editing skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a deep understanding of documentation practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, format, and revise technical documents, including procedures, manuals, reports, SOPs, and work instructions.
Maintain document control systems and manage document lifecycle (creation, revision, approval, archiving).
Edit and proofread documents for grammar, consistency, clarity, and style.
Track document revisions and maintain version control to ensure document integrity.
Coordinate document reviews and approvals through internal systems.
Provide training and support to staff on document processes and systems.
Audit documentation practices to ensure compliance and recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
2+ years of experience in documentation, technical writing, or document control.
Strong understanding of documentation standards, styles, and formats.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
