The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience handling construction and fit-out documents, and the ability to work closely with project teams to ensure document accuracy, version control, and timely distribution.
Key Responsibilities
Manage, control, and maintain all project documents including drawings, RFIs, submittals, method statements, and approvals
Ensure proper document numbering, filing, and version control in line with company procedures
Distribute documents to internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors in a timely manner
Track document submissions, approvals, and revisions
Maintain up-to-date document registers and logs
Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Site Teams to ensure document compliance
Ensure confidential documents are securely stored and accessed only by authorized personnel
Support audits by providing required documentation when requested
Assist in preparing reports related to document status and progress
Archive completed project documents properly for future reference
Requirements
Minimum
3 years of experience
as a Document Controller in
interior fit-out or construction projects
Strong knowledge of fit-out documentation processes
Proficiency in
MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), EMAAR , DM Portals
Experience with document control systems (Aconex, Procore, or similar is an advantage)
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with shop drawings and material submittals
Experience working on commercial or residential fit-out projects
Basic understanding of construction workflows
