Document Controller

Job Description
Hi we are looking for an experienced Document Controller to support our ongoing projects on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in Construction or Engineering companies, with strong skills in document management, QA/QC of file structures, and maintaining accurate data systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and control project and asset-related documentation.
- Perform quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) of file structures, metadata, and naming conventions.
- Ensure documents are accurately linked to assets as well as projects.
- Maintain and update Excel-based trackers, ensuring all logs remain reliable, traceable, and audit-ready.
- Support document filing, version control, and retrieval in accordance with company standards.
- Coordinate with project and engineering teams to ensure timely submission, review, and approval of documents.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Document Controller in a construction or engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of document control systems, QA/QC documentation, and file naming protocols.
- Proficient in MS Excel and document management tools (such as Aconex, Procore, or similar).
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Available to join immediately or within a short notice period.
Duration: 3 to 6 months (extendable based on project needs)
