Dubai Municipality (DM)-Approved Steel Structure Designer / Engineer

to join our growing technical team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and verify steel structure design calculations and drawings. Submit steel structure designs to

Dubai Municipality (DM)

and obtain necessary approvals. Prepare and review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings. Coordinate with DM, consultants, fabricators, and site execution teams. Ensure full compliance with

Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defence (DCD), and applicable international codes and standards

. Provide technical support during fabrication, erection, and construction stages. Conduct site visits as required to resolve design and execution-related issues.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in

Civil or Structural Engineering

from a recognized university.

Mandatory:

Valid

Dubai Municipality (DM) approval

as a Steel Structure Designer / Engineer. Minimum

3-5 years of relevant experience

in steel structure projects within Dubai. Strong working knowledge of steel design codes and standards (

BS, Eurocode, AISC

). Proficiency in

AutoCAD

experience with

Tekla Structures and other Softwares

is an added advantage. Proven experience in

DM submissions, authority approvals, and technical coordination

. Solid understanding of fabrication, erection methods, and site execution practices.

Valid UAE driving license

is an added advantage.. Strong communication, coordination, and technical documentation skills.
