Pioneer Engineering Consultancy is pleased to announce exciting new career opportunities to join our team in the Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Steel Structure Design Engineer to join our team.
Education & Professional Background
Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master's degree is a plus). Minimum 5-10 years of experience in steel structural design and detailing. Experience with industrial, commercial, and high-rise steel structures.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of international design codes and standards (e.g., AISC, BS5950, Eurocodes, ACI). Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, Tekla Structures). Ability to prepare detailed design calculations, drawings, and reports. Experience in connection design, baseplates, and stability analysis. Knowledge of seismic and wind design considerations. Familiarity with fabrication, erection, and constructability requirements. Understanding of steel grades, welding standards, and corrosion protection systems. Knowledge of BIM workflows and coordination in steel structures.
