Job Description

We are urgently looking for a DM Approved Engineer who will oversee construction, design, and compliance activities in line with

Dubai Municipality regulations

and

UAE building codes

. The role ensures all project submissions, approvals, and site executions meet statutory and safety standards while maintaining project timelines and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance:

Prepare, review, and submit engineering drawings and documents to

Dubai Municipality (DM)

for approvals. Ensure full compliance with

Dubai Building Codes

, local authority regulations (Trakhees, DDA, RTA, DCD), and project specifications. Coordinate with government authorities for inspections, NOCs, building permits, and completion certificates.

Project Execution:

Supervise site activities to ensure structural and architectural works adhere to approved drawings. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety. Verify contractor work methods, materials, and workmanship meet DM standards and project QA/QC procedures.

Technical Expertise:

Review and approve construction method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals. Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions on-site. Assist in structural calculations and design validation when required.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain updated records of DM approvals, authority communications, and project logs. Prepare progress reports, compliance reports, and site inspection records. Ensure documentation aligns with ISO standards and company project management procedures.

Stakeholder Coordination:

Liaise with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and clients. Attend technical meetings and DM inspections. Follow up with DM portals (Dubai BPS, ePermits, eNOC) for smooth approval processes.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (based on discipline).

Valid Dubai Municipality Engineer Approval

(Mandatory).

Registered with Society of Engineers - UAE

. Minimum

3-8 years experience

in UAE construction industry. Strong knowledge of

UAE building codes

, and project management. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and DM submission portals. Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage. Valid UAE Driving License preferred.
