Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient marine workflows. Monitor and optimize operational processes to improve efficiency and productivity. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Lead and manage a team of operational staff, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluation. Collaborate with logistics, maintenance, and administrative teams to achieve divisional and organizational goals. Prepare and present operational reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for management review. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline operations. Manage budgets, costs, and resource allocation effectively. Identify operational challenges and implement practical, data-driven solutions. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in

Business Administration, Operations Management, Marine Engineering

, or a related field. 5-7 years of progressive experience in

operations management

, preferably in the

marine, shipping, or logistics industry

. Proven leadership experience managing teams and operational projects. Strong understanding of industry standards, safety protocols, and best practices. Proficiency in operational management tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure in a dynamic environment.
