The Opportunity:
The post holder is a member of the Global Inclusion, Diversity and Belonging team which develops and implements our global efforts on inclusion, diversity, wellbeing, and belonging encompassing all our activities across Oliver Wyman locations around the globe. In particular, this role will act as business partner for the India, Middle East and Africa (IMEA) region and support the Asia Pacific Region (APR). Additionally, this role will lead on a selection of IDB projects and programs.
Specifically, you'll be...
Your role will be to act as the IDB business partner to the IMEA and APR regions and to lead on key IDB projects and programs. Specific responsibilities will include:
Engage senior leaders in development and ownership of IDB strategy in IMEA and APR regions and act as an advisor on IDB topics
Lead IMEA and APR Regional Belonging Councils, alongside local IDB Partners / Directors of Talent
Localise global IDB messaging for IMEA and APR markets and ensure local topics and priorities are heard and understood at Global level
Co-create and deliver trainings on range of IDB topics to drive inclusive working practices
Develop and deliver strategic and ad-hoc IDB initiatives on behalf of the central IDB team
Act as a special advisor on chosen inclusion major
Act as a sounding board and confidant for colleagues, providing advice and signposting to resources
What we would love to see from you:
Demonstrable experience in DEI space in IMEA region or HR space within a consultancy
Proven experience of delivering impact and driving change management processes on culture change and/or inclusion, equity, diversity and belonging
Project management and execution in fast-paced environment, with proven impact
Ability to design and deliver innovative solutions to inclusion, equity, diversity and belonging challenges
Experience managing complex stakeholder groups across matrixed organization
MS PowerPoint to present information to a high standard
Excel for simple tasks and openness to developing more detailed analysis skills
Skills and Attributes:
Proven ability to think strategically and elevate perspective beyond the day to day by identifying and assessing long term opportunities and challenges
Proven ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships across a dynamic and complex matrix structure
Advanced verbal and written communications skills and ability to synthesize complex information into key messages and practical tools and guidance
Strong storytelling and presentation skills
Comfortable working independently and understanding when to escalate an issue
Ability to speak up and challenge the status quo
Flexible approach and adaptable to change
Ability to work collaboratively across a global team and in a multi-cultural environment
