Distribution Operation Specialist

This position works out of UAE location in the Abbott Diagnostics Division

The Distributor Operation Specialists is responsible for establishing and driving the distributor Sales Force organization to improve profitability of existing base business, ensure new business development and customer satisfaction.

The role is focused on retention and value expansion while ensuring economic profitability of operations.

The Distributor Specialist is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with distributors and their team.

What You\'ll Do

Full revenue responsibility for the region including forecasting and target performance achievement.

Full operational responsibility for sales team.

Act as a trusted advisor to customers and distributors.

Ensure revenue targets of distributors are achieved within the responsibility territories.

Implement new sales strategies and techniques with the distributors.

Prepare and execute annual reviews of distributors.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with distributors.

Coordinate trainings for distributors to ensure continual improvement in capability, knowledge, customer service, performance, profitability and Compliance.

Coordinate renewals of expired Distribution Agreements. Coordinate all the procedures for new Distribution Agreements.

Ensure that sales team achieves intended results on time by tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Responsible to define and execute business development plan and sales plan to achieve revenue target, higher profitability, higher win-rates and higher share of wallet for existing customers.

Responsible for managing solutions portfolio and resource allocation.

Manage and drive the development of their accounts.

Drive standardization and harmonization of tools and process across the region.

Success in this role is measured by economic profitability, contract renewal rate, service level achievement, customer satisfaction score (NPS) and management revenue.

Required Qualifications:

University degree, ideally in one of the following fields: computer science, bio medical, electrical or mechanical.

Significant domestic and international travel required.

Experience

Proven track record in a similar position supported by management and customer references.

Successful engagement with customers, specifically Senior Management and key stakeholders

Strong track record working in virtual settings across distributed teams

The position reports directly to Distributor Operations Manager.

The Acquisition Organization is focusing on selling ADD\xe2\x80\x99s total solutions to complex accounts with elevated decision makers. The Customer Experience Organization is responsible to create stronger, solution-focused customer partnerships while also meeting the day-today service and support needs.
