Labor Management: Oversees the planning of staffing levels of distribution office personnel and warehouse personnel. Supervisory / management responsibilities for distribution office and warehouse personnel. Periodically evaluate employees and complete performance evaluations for employees. Interviews & participates in hiring of distribution/warehouse personnel.

Operations: Reviews all customers\xe2\x80\x99 records/reports for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures. Reviews records/reports to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies. Determines budget and accounting for department. Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow. Assists with new business transitions. Issues written and oral instructions. Participate in Distribution services rate quoting process. Pro-actively checking and monitoring financial reports and always looking for productivity gains in processes. Need to have the right communication and management skills to deal with 3PL personnel. Communicates and manages 3PL operations. Manages and Works with the team on the respective operational and customer service backups.

Floor: Works with receiving, put away, picking, shipping and inventory control, handling DG products and plan all kinds of value-added services.

Quality: Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.

Customer Service: Continually maintains a professional and courteous relationship with all customers. Focuses on customer service, sales and retention. Conducts Quality Management Reviews (QMRs) and retention calls with customers and vendors. Needs to have the ability to prepare presentations for customers. Attends to all customers\xe2\x80\x99 escalations and problems.

Billing: Validates all customer\xe2\x80\x99s throughput to be in line with the agreed rates on weekly/monthly basis.

Qualifications

A. Education (preferred level) college degree.

B. Experience (minimum level of direct experience in a similar position)

Warehouse operations & Customer Service - 10 to 15 experience.

C.6 sigma, process improvement, supply chain management certifications (masters) is a plus.

D. Knowledge/ Skills: Requires good supervisory and communication skills. Familiarity with personal computers and material handling equipment is essential. Strong decision-making and coaching skills. Able to drive results.
