Key Responsibilities


Project Planning and Execution: The Display Merchandiser is responsible for planning and executing display projects, including designing layouts, selecting products, and ensuring timely implementation to meet marketing objectives.

Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: This role involves addressing challenges such as space constraints, product availability, and customer preferences, requiring quick decision-making to optimize display effectiveness. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Working closely with marketing, sales, and design teams to create cohesive displays that align with promotional campaigns and brand messaging. Leadership and Mentorship: Providing guidance to junior merchandising staff, sharing best practices, and fostering a collaborative work environment to achieve display excellence. Process Improvement and Innovation: Continuously improving display strategies, exploring new technologies, and innovating visual merchandising techniques to drive sales and enhance customer experience. Technical or Customer-Facing Responsibilities: Engaging with customers to gather feedback on displays, conducting product demonstrations, and ensuring displays are visually appealing and informative.

Required Skills and Qualification



Technical Skills: Knowledge of retail merchandising systems, familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, understanding of visual merchandising principles. Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Design, or related field. Experience Level: 1+ years of experience in display merchandising, preferably in the retail industry, with a proven track record of successful projects. Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, creativity, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, team collaboration, adaptability to changing market trends. Industry Knowledge: Understanding of consumer behavior, retail trends, product placement strategies, and compliance with merchandising regulations.

Preferred Qualifications



Experience in high-traffic retail environments. Demonstrated experience in creating interactive displays. Proficiency in additional languages for diverse customer interactions.
