Position Overview:

Domus Flower LLC is looking for an experienced and highly organized

Dispatcher

to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in coordinating the supply chain logistics for our floral products, ensuring timely and efficient delivery, and maintaining smooth operations. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong communication and problem-solving skills.

A valid UAE driving license is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage the supply chain logistics for flowers, including sourcing, procurement, transportation, and distribution. Develop and maintain relationships with flower growers, suppliers, and distributors. Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of flowers. Coordinate the shipping and handling of flowers, including packaging, labeling, and documentation. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for transportation. Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to flower shipments, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs documentation. Generate reports on logistics performance. Identify and resolve logistics issues promptly to minimize disruptions in flower supply. Implement corrective actions and process improvements as needed Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to flower logistics, including phytosanitary requirements and international trade regulations Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities to optimize transportation, storage, and distribution expenses while maintaining quality standards. Supervise and lead a team of drivers, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management. Monitor route performance and make adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency and meet delivery deadlines. Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally. Plan and optimize daily delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize delivery times and costs.

Qualifications & Skills:

A valid UAE driving license is mandatory. A

high school diploma

is required; a

Bachelor's degree

in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred. At least

3 years of experience in logistics and dispatch within the UAE, preferably in the floral, agricultural, or transportation industries

. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers, drivers, and customers. Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure. Ability to monitor and optimize delivery routes and operations to maximize efficiency. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in documentation and logistics reporting. Experience with logistics software or tracking systems is a plus.
