To support the dispatch operations by preparing, organizing, and tracking outgoing deliveries efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely dispatch and smooth coordination with delivery staff and relevant departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and packing of orders for dispatch based on delivery schedules.
Verify items and quantities against invoices or delivery notes before dispatch.
Coordinate with production and store teams to ensure readiness of goods for timely dispatch.
Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation of dispatched items.
Update dispatch records and maintain logs of outgoing deliveries.
Assist drivers with loading and unloading of goods as needed.
Monitor vehicle movements and communicate delivery timelines with the concerned departments.
Report delays, discrepancies, or damaged goods to the supervisor immediately.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dispatch area.
Follow safety and hygiene guidelines during handling and dispatch of goods.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in dispatch, warehouse, or logistics operations preferred.
Basic knowledge of inventory and dispatch processes.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Familiarity with documentation and basic computer usage is a plus.
