Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Discord Community Specialist to lead
the development, management, and engagement of our Discord server, with a strong focus on
gaming communities such as Roblox, among others. This role is central to our online
community strategy and offers the opportunity to build a vibrant, safe, and inclusive
environment for our users.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, set up, and maintain structured Discord servers, including role hierarchies,
channel layouts, permissions, and automation tools.
Build and execute community engagement strategies to attract and retain users, with a
focus on gaming-related interests and platforms.
Moderate community interactions to ensure a respectful and welcoming environment,
adhering to internal policies and guidelines.
Coordinate and host events, game nights, Q&A sessions, and special campaigns
tailored to community interests.
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, content, tech) to align Discord activities
with broader digital initiatives.
Monitor analytics and community sentiment to provide regular insights and
recommendations for growth and engagement.
Implement bots and integrations to enhance user experience and streamline
moderation or support functions.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience managing active Discord communities, ideally
within the gaming industry.
Deep understanding of Discord's ecosystem, including moderation tools, bots (e.g.,
MEE6, Carl-bot, Dyno), and server architecture.
Strong affinity with gaming platforms--particularly Roblox--and familiarity with gamer
culture and trends.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of community development.
High attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
Experience with scripting or customizing bots via third-party platforms or APIs.
Knowledge of digital marketing tools and strategies.
Experience with content creation (video, memes, short-form posts) tailored to community channels.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
