We are seeking an experienced

Discipline Offshore Structural Engineer

to join ourclient a multinational engineering company's Oil & Gas project team in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance and safety in all structural engineering aspects of greenfield and brownfield offshore modifications. This role demands a strong background in jackets, topside fixed platforms, offshore design software, and adherence to international standards.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure all structural engineering deliverables for offshore greenfield/brownfield modifications comply with international and company standards (Shell DEP, QatarEnergy standards, EN, ISO, API codes). Perform Concept, FEED, and Detailed Engineering of offshore structures based on project work scope. Prepare and manage comment resolution sheets, technical queries, and coordinate with clients for approvals. Conduct brownfield modification analyses including: Jacket reassessment (global in-place, seismic, boat impact, spectral fatigue, pushover analysis). Topside modification analyses (local analysis, loadout, sea transportation, rigging design, installation sequence planning). Work with

SACS software (mandatory)

for structural analysis. Experience with SESAM, MOSES, and STAAD Pro is an added advantage. Apply geotechnical data and pile foundation knowledge using PSI. Perform miscellaneous calculations for subsea clamp design, doubler plates, node plates, monorail beams, equipment supports, and other offshore structural elements. Prepare design calculations and analysis reports using Excel and Mathcad. Review and check fabrication drawings, detail drawings, and installation/removal sequences for offshore structures. Conduct offshore site surveys and prepare survey reports. Participate in model reviews using software such as ACAD, E3D, PDS, and Navisworks (advantageous).
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Mechanical Engineering

from an accredited university.

8+ years of offshore engineering experience

in Oil & Gas projects, with focus on jackets and topside fixed platform structures. Strong hands-on experience with

SACS software (mandatory)

. Knowledge of SESAM, MOSES, STAAD Pro, ACAD, E3D, PDS, and Navisworks is desirable. Proven expertise in offshore brownfield modifications and reassessment studies. Basic knowledge of geotechnical and pile foundation design. Prior experience in offshore site surveys and preparation of detailed reports. Strong understanding of international codes, industry practices, and fabrication/installation processes.
