We are seeking a Director-Market Research to lead strategic insights and advisory initiatives for the Data Center industry. This is a pivotal role that will influence investment decisions, growth strategies and competitive positioning across multiple geographies.
Location Flexibility: This role can be based in Dubai, Asia or Europe and the scope of responsibilities will be tailored to your experience, network and regional expertise-whether Global, Asia-focused, or Europe-focused.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a market research strategy that provides actionable insights for Data center development and expansion.
• Conduct in-depth competitor analysis, pricing trends and market dynamics to guide strategic decisions.
• Monitor regulatory changes, customer demand patterns and emerging technologies impacting the data center sector.
• Advise senior leadership on growth opportunities and market entry strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure research aligns with business objectives and investment priorities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Extensive recent experience dedicated to the Data Center industry, with deep knowledge of market dynamics, operators and the broader ecosystem.
• Background in market research, competitive intelligence, or strategic advisory within real estate, infrastructure, or technology sectors.
• Hands-on approach with deep on-the-ground knowledge of the industry, not focused on research revenue generation but operational insights.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable recommendations.
• Global mindset with regional expertise in Asia and/or Europe.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
