Overview
Looking for a seasoned and accomplished Director with a proven track record to manage all allied services related to the negotiation and closure of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures at G42 and its varied business units.

The opportunity

As Director - Transaction Support, you get to play a pivotal role in the overall growth, profitability and market share of the G42 Group and its business units through mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. The chosen candidate will be directly reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities
Identifying potential risks in the opportunities and providing inputs in creating corresponding solutions.
Providing inputs to strategic advice given by the G42 M&A team to the CFO/ G42 Leadership in order to enable informed decision-making.
Providing inputs in the process of developing budgets for new acquisitions.
Escalating issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
Performing (or where applicable directing the G42 M&A team/ external advisers to perform) commercial and financial Due Diligence procedures on Targets.
Providing post-merger integration inputs in order to support the business integration of newly acquired entities into the G42 ecosystem.
Leading the preparation of valuation models for Targets for acquisition/ divestment following G42's M&A standards.
Providing inputs towards developing valuation ranges for acquisition/ divestment Targets in order to assist G42 Leadership with negotiations.
Gathering important information regarding risks and opportunities for current and future M&A activities and translating this information into fact-based and well-reasoned business insights.
Assisting with financial modeling and financial analysis in evaluating acquisition Targets.
Interacting with both internal (i.e. G42) and external business leaders in the post-merger integration process for newly acquired entities.
Ensuring that internal (G42) M&A policies, processes and standards are adhered to.
Proactively analyzing the financial reporting impact of new acquisitions prior to deal completion and alerting the M&A team/ CFO regarding any unusual aspects or pitfalls.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to build and develop strong relationships with clients and multipliers in the market
Qualifications
12- 15 years of experience in Transaction Services.
Experience working in Accounting, Audit or Finance with in Big 4 or boutique or advisory firms
Must have proven track record in executing Financial Due Diligence preferably in GCC market or in one of mature markets within Transaction Services
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or business-related fields with strong academic background
Preferably qualified ACA or CPA
Transaction experience to include due diligence, market entry, financial restructuring, feasibility studies and business plan validation
Experience in identification of key deal financial and commercial issues
