Job Purpose:

FAB as the leading UAE banks needs to be at the forefront of the Client solutions offering in order to provide tailored market solutions for its clients for their regional and global needs.

The Structuring team has, to this extent, the mission of accelerating product development and foster innovation within Global Markets. The team reports directly to the Head of Global Markets. It sits as a bridge between Sales and Trading to facilitate deal origination and ideation; and executing complex and multi facested transactions. It works along all support functions in order to deliver new products, ensuring a full compliance with market, credit, legal and operational risk policies across the workflow chain, and lead innovative and tailor-made solutions within special situations.

The team is being built up currently and through 2023.

The team looks after all client situations across client segments. In particular, the teams puts an effort towards enhancing client reach on Corporate Clients. The incumbent is therefore tasked with leading the efforts towards accelerating product offering towards corporate clients and/or Private side situations. To this extent his main duty is to work intensively with corporate sales on adapting our product capabilities to specific corporate situations and accelerating our reach on rates, equities, commodities and especially on FX options.

The incumbent task consists in working:

with sales and trading to adapt payoffs to various contexts in the Corporate Clients space:

pitch and execute trades.

Contribute to regular communications: Pricing runs, Specific hedging ideas.

use available wrappings (Structured Notes Program, off-balance sheet SPV, Deposits, OTC etc)

develop other platforms (eg Embedded Derivatives Financing);

Work intensively with GM internal parteners, especially Coverage and Global Coporateate Finance to identify potential opportunities which may involve a Market situation (hedging, prehedging, Derivatives based Financing, Secured Funding, Balancesheet management, M etc\xe2\x80\xa6)

As XVA is key in the Corporate Client segment, The incumbent shall develop an expertise in terms of XVA to help diffuse awareness across the floor and work worth the XVA Non-Linear trading desk towards managing and optimizing / monetizing CVA and RWA intensive trades (CSA optimization, Restructuring, Compression etc)

Job Specific Accountabilities:

Help industrialise the desk pricing capabilities depending on Trading product catalogue by implementing automatic daily runs on several formats (deposits, emtn, hedging solutions etc) ;

Participate with Trading and Sales in elaborating Payoff developments dedicated towards the corporate segment. The focus has to be on Rates, Commodities and especially FX Options.

Raise the amount of deal flow on the primary side as well as on existing transactions (restructuring)

Finalize with GCF and the Sales forces the Embedded Derivatives Loans platform. Execute transactions on this platform.

Identify, structure and execute transactions that are Private Side originated and where derivatives are needed (M&A, Strategic Equity, Debt and Equity Issuance and buybacks etc)

Comply with internal policies and governance as well regulations in place.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance or related discipline, a Masters Degree is preferred.

Minimum Experience:

5 to 15 years\' relevant experience in the banking sector

Relevant experience with the Corporate Segment and relevant asset class (FX and / or Rates mainly)

Experience level enables job holder to provide expertise regarding work related systems, processes and challenges;

Experience of interpreting strategy and policy in order to set and deliver objectives within medium to long time frames.

Experience to work and smoothly interact with main stakeholds as well as internal partners (eg. GCF) and enablers (legal, Compliance, Risk etc)

Experience to pitch clients especially in the Corporate space
