JOB TITLE: Director Airport Operations INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Quality, Environment, Health & Safety Grade: Engineering Level -7 Job Location: Sharjah, UAE Experience: Minimum 12 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience Nationality: UAE, Emirati National Only JOB PURPOSE: To lead and direct the planning and management of airport operations to ensure all flight & ground operations and airport development activities at Client Airport are conducted in a safe, efficient, and orderly manner in line with applicable legislations, regulatory standards and best practice guidelines. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation of strategies to build Client\xe2\x80\x99s operational capability and drive a culture of high performance, innovation, quality, and safety in order to support CLIENT in achieving its strategic objectives. Cascade corporate polices and lead the development and implementation of operational policies & procedures and service level agreements to ensure airport operations are conducted in compliance with the applicable legislation, aviation regulations, standards, guidelines, and recommended practices. Maintain oversight of the project portfolio related to airport operations to ensure seamless execution. Oversee the planning and management of fire & rescue operations to ensure ClientAirport is fully equipped to always deal with any emergency situations. Ensure all necessary engineering systems (CNS, AGL etc.) are installed, configured, implemented, and maintained for safe airport operations. Supervise the management of engineering works related to airport assets to ensure the airport infrastructure can meet operational requirements. Work closely with the Risk Analysis team to ensure any potential operational risks / hazards that may impact safety and efficiency of airport operations are identified and proactively addressed. Build and maintain coherence across all operational teams and lead efforts to strengthen synergies, enhance operational efficiencies, and reinforce aviation best practices, in line with standards approved by government entities / officials/\xe2\x80\x99. Ensure a robust mechanism is in place to review, evaluate and approve all contractor / subcontractor appointments. Look for opportunities to improve operational performance at Client Airport through process improvements, technology enhancements, cost reductions and better utilisation of assets (e.g., manpower). Review and approve all operational budgets and ensure a robust mechanism is in place to track monitor and report on budget spend. Set and communicate performance expectations to team members and provide coaching to the team to address development areas that will enhance individual and team performance. Adhere to CLIENT\xe2\x80\x99s health, safety, environmental and quality management systems, policies, and standards.
