Job Summary This exciting opportunity requires relocation to Abu Dhabi. Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is a unique and unparalleled extension of US-based Cleveland Clinic's model of care, specifically designed to address a range of complex and critical care requirements unique to the residents and communities of the United Arab Emirates. Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is composed of 15 institutes designed to put Patients First and align with the region's specific healthcare needs. In all, more than 50 medical and surgical specialties are represented at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and are integrated to offer coordinated, multidisciplinary care for adult patients.

The facilities at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi combine state-of-the-art amenities and world-class service standards. The hospital is a 364 (expandable to 490) bed facility, with five clinical floors, three diagnostic and treatment levels, and 13 floors of critical and acute inpatient units. It is a physician-led medical facility served by Western-trained, North American/European board certified (or equivalent) physicians, licensed by the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi. Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi provides patients in the region direct access to the world's best healthcare providers and Cleveland Clinic's unique model of care, reducing their need to travel abroad for treatment.

This position is responsible for providing overall direction in the development, implementation and administration of CCAD's employee compensation and benefits programs, workforce planning & organizational design.

The role will require an experienced and solutions focused Total Rewards and OD professional with exposure to a highly commercial and fast paced environment. Prior experience of influencing at a senior stakeholder level is essential

This position will closely with the senior leadership to advise and develop rewards framework and workforce strategies to enable the business to attract, retain and motivate their people to provide great patient outcomes.

Job Details

Responsibilities: Provides overall direction and management relative to CCAD's compensation framework design, procedures and programs. Oversees the re/design of the organization structure, workforce and related processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the workforce is maximized. Evaluate and benchmark CCAD's compensation and benefits programs against industry standards and ensure that the programs are competitive and cost-effective and compliant with regulatory standards. Oversees the analysis, development and implementation of new and enhanced systems and applications that support CCAD's business objectives in regards to rewards and workforce. Review and update policies and procedures related to compensation and benefits administration, workforce planning, including job classification, salary structure, salary reviews and recognition programs. Performs assessments relative to both employee and CCAD needs to ensure competitive, yet cost effective benefit strategies. Manages department personnel to ensure optimum performance, resource utilization and timely processing of all compensation, benefits, and workforce functions. Interacts with CCAD leadership and external stakeholders to address program issues and provide appropriate education with regard to existing compensation and benefit framework and policies. Develops and maintains strong relationships with external partners, including benefits providers, compensation consultants, and other vendors. Collaborates with other HC teams to ensure that compensation and benefits programs are integrated with other HC driven programs and initiatives. Partners with senior leaders to help align business and workforce plans in order to meet planned goals and targets. Stays up to date on industry trends and best practices related to compensation and benefits in the healthcare industry, and make recommendations for changes and improvements as necessary. Effectively communicates, collaborates, liaises and networks with senior leadership to ensure strong professional relationships within and across diverse and interdisciplinary work teams and departments. Perform other duties as assigned. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Management or related field required. Master's Degree preferred.

Work Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years experience in Human Resources is required with atleast seven (7) years in compensation and benefits design and administration, preferably in healthcare Minimum of three (3) years managerial experience or C- level interaction is required Job Specific Skills and Abilities: Strong knowledge of regional compensation and benefits practices and regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions. Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities. Ability to speak and write in English is required Ability to speak and write in both English and Arabic is preferred

Physical Requirements: Normal physical demands include dexterity sufficient to operate a personal computer and other office equipment. Ability to travel to alternate sites throughout the organization. Normal or corrected vision, hearing and speech.

Personal Protective Equipment: Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
