About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary UX/UI Product Designer to join Kerzner International\'s dynamic Global Commercial Team working across brands within the Kerzner portfolio. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Marketing and working with the wider Marketing Team, as the UX/UI Product Director, you will play a vital role in shaping the design strategy and driving the overall user experience for our customers across various platforms, including desktop web, mobile web, and native mobile apps. The primary responsibility will be to translate design choices into impactful decisions that enhance our booking journey, online content strategy and boost performance across all channels. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to identify, define, and implement design solutions that elevate the guest journey. The UX/UI Product Designer will inspire and provide direction for our brands ensuring delivery of best-in-class design and delivery of MarTech strategies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Defining the online digital journey in alignment with Kerzner Internationals digital transformation and online digital marketing strategy.
  • Developing a roadmap to implement the customer experience strategy effectively on our websites and apps.
  • Playing a key role in the end-to-end design, development, and implementation process of our websites and apps. This includes optimising the UX/UI design of digital platforms to ensure high conversion rates, implementing personalization, designing workflows and interactions, and creating high-fidelity visual designs.
  • Leading the design processes throughout the product lifecycle, setting the vision for the user experience, and collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Contributing to the overall vision and strategy for the product roadmap.
  • Analyze user data and propose UX/UI changes to improve user retention, engagement and conversion rates.
  • Working closely with a collaborative and cross-functional team (In-house and agencies) to develop and deliver a high-quality product experience at all stages of product development.
In order to create highly desirable and user-centered designs, you will:
  • Take into consideration business goals, product requirements, market segment analysis, customer feedback, site metrics, and usability findings for online performance.
  • Collaborate with internal brand and digital teams, external agencies, IT technical teams and project managers to develop user-focused concepts and solutions for desktop, mobile, and native mobile app interfaces (iOS and Android).
  • Work closely with the website manager, brand leads and IT project management teams to define, design, and iterate innovative experiences that enhance user satisfaction and positively impact our commercial key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Take ownership of the solution throughout the entire process, from concept to launch, ensuring that it achieves the set objectives.
  • Actively participate in and contribute to the planning process for new features and projects.
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Director to support implementing a robust personalization strategy for our online platforms.
  • Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, clickable prototypes, and other design artifacts.
  • Stay informed and create reporting on competitive products and experiences, as well as industry trends and best practices.
  • Play an integral role in enhancing our content strategy and implementation of brand storytelling into our websites and APPS.
  • Uphold brand UI/UX guidelines, including colors, icons, typographic specifications, graphic and photographic styles, video & motion concepts, and other relevant elements to maintain consistent brand representation.
  • Deliver responsive design across various platforms.
  • Create user-centric designs across various platforms by incorporating insights from both qualitative and quantitative data. Make informed decisions based on data analysis and express your design opinions.
  • Plan and conduct discovery and usability research, including identifying opportunities, writing test plans and scripts, analyzing results, and effectively communicating findings to influence project decisions.
  • Articulate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed designs, and design rationale in both verbal and visual formats.
  • Stay updated on new technology, design trends, and emerging UI patterns, demonstrating a keen interest in data-driven design approaches.
  • Work with Digital Website Manager on A/B testing and actively seek opportunities to drive incremental revenue.
  • Work closely with the CRM director to ensure our guest journey is optimized to increase engagement and storytelling.
  • Support in project management of various website and app based project streams.
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Design or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in designing user interfaces and interactions, preferably in consumer-focused tech or product companies.
  • Strong background in utilizing research and analytics to inform design decisions.
  • Relevant luxury experience as a UX/UI relevant role in an agency or in-house setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating flow diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and visual communication to effectively convey design concepts.
  • Ability to comprehend complex business problems and establish a design vision for the product in the short, medium, and long term.
  • Proficiency in applying best practices for mobile and web design, as well as a solid understanding of usability principles and techniques.
  • Experience collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams, including Product, Engineering, and Commercial departments.
  • Proven ability to drive the design review cycle and independently fulfill design requirements.
  • Relevant work experience in web and mobile architecture, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of design considerations in these domains.
  • A portfolio of work showcasing user-centered design solutions and demonstrating depth of experience.
  • Experience conducting user interviews for research and testing purposes, with a strong grasp of user research methodologies.
  • These requirements ensure that you possess the necessary qualifications and expertise to excel in this role and contribute effectively to the organization\'s design efforts.
  • Knowledge of Personalisation and MarTech tools (Monetate, Optimizely, Interactive Studio, CrazyEgg, etc.).
  • Software knowledge: Adobe Creative suite, Figma, Sketch, InVision Studio, Axure, XD, etc.
  • Strong technical and development knowledge (Sitecore, ContentStack and Salesforce marketing cloud a big plus)
  • Strong presentational skills (keynote, PowerPoint, etc.).
