About The Role
Procurement Director is responsible for leading and managing the procurement/purchasing related operations, tactical and strategic sourcing within procurement to drive operational efficiencies and meet hotel requirements. The role will carry the responsibility of managing the food and beverage, OS&E, FF&E, Engineering/FM, Professional Services. This role is also responsible for leading the team to manage the end-to-end cycle of contract management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize the procurement process and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
• Identify and select vendors based on price, quality, and delivery capabilities, negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to support the hotel operations.
• Collaborate with department heads/stakeholders to identify purchasing needs and develop specifications for products and services.
• Manage the procurement budget, track spending and report on purchasing activities.
• Conduct market research and stay up to date with industry trends to identify new products and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, including ethical sourcing practices and sustainability initiatives.
• Select suppliers/contractors/consultants impartially based on commercial and technical evaluation.
• Leading the procurement department, including a team of Assistant Procurement Managers, Procurement officers and Buyers.
• Oversee the maintenance and update of catalogue of various goods and services in the system.
• Oversee the RFQ and tendering process for tactical and strategic goods and services.
• Participate in bid evaluations, cost analyses, price justification, and risk assessment of suppliers.

About You
We are looking for an experienced procurement professional with at least 8-10 years of experience who can demonstrate the below skills and competencies:

• Proven experience in stakeholder management, exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiation.
• Robust understanding of supplier markets with focus on UAE
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools, with the ability to incorporate technology into source to contract process.
• A demonstrated commitment to Kerzner ESG principles.
• Strong capex projects skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision abilities
• Demonstrates professional acumen, agility and passion to discover new things.
