Responsible for driving strategic alignment and optimizing performance and operational excellence across SOTC in line with SOPC strategy and relevant internal and external stakeholders. This role partners closely with Senior Directors and other functional leads to support goal setting, strategic planning, tracking, and monitoring. Overseeing planning and performance management and operational improvement initiatives, the Director ensures the implementation of data-driven, innovative approaches and continuous improvement frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness at the division level. Through proactive stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration, this role fosters a culture of excellence that advances SOPC's strategic objectives and strengthens organizational performance.
Job Specific Accountabilities
Performance & Operational Excellence
Lead performance management frameworks across departments, ensuring key initiatives are monitored, evaluated, and improved.
Drive operational excellence by identifying efficiency gaps and implementing best practices and process optimization.
Establish and manage performance dashboards and reporting systems to track organizational performance against strategic objectives that are cascaded from Strategy and ensure alignment of those objectives with athlete performance framework and sport specific KPIs.
Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement
Collaborate with departments to align operational goals with SOPC's strategic priorities.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement through benchmarking, data analysis, and feedback loops.
Lead initiatives that enhance service delivery, process efficiency, and cross-departmental collaboration.
Understand the process requirements to integrate both planning and operation excellence processes to achieve effective optimization, high efficiency and a better beneficiary experience.
Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency in performance initiatives.
Represent the organization in discussions related to planning, performance and operational excellence, sharing best practices and securing collaboration.
Reporting & Compliance
Oversee the preparation and submission of annual plans, performance and operational reports.
Ensure all initiatives comply with organizational standards, policies, and governance frameworks
Performs assigned direct and indirect responsibilities in alignment with organizational interests and compliance.
