Our client, a leading healthcare facility based in Dubai, UAE is currently looking for a Chair - Oncology Department.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following and not limited to:

To provide leadership on the design, operational delivery, and enhancement of collaborative comprehensive cancer care services in line with organizational standards, goals, and regulatory requirements.

The director of operations is responsible for the leadership and development of a high-performance multidisciplinary cancer program team that delivers excellence in cancer care with a focus on evidence-based practice, patient experience, and clinical outcomes.

The main purpose of the job is to effectively and efficiently execute the operational strategy and sustainably grow and develop the cancer program in line within the regulatory framework, clinical standards, budget, and strategic direction of the organization.

Expert contribution to the design and planning of the hospital to meet operational functions, and organizational priorities with a focus on seamless workflows that simultaneously prioritize best clinical practice and patient experience

Development of patient, clinical, administrative, and operational workflows.

Preparation of the building, infrastructure, and equipment to safely open the hospital on day 1

Expert leadership in developing governance structure, organizational structure, workforce planning, job

descriptions and recruitment.

Development of evidence-based policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures

Lead on operational readiness activities such as department set up and scenario testing /dry runs to ensure departments can open safely

The Ideal Candidate would have the following perquisites:

Healthcare Related Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree

A minimum of five years of oncology operations experience is required.

Certification as a Certified Oncology Nurse (OCN) is desirable.

Must have the ability to lead a team and maintain maximum effectiveness and efficiency

Prior experience in hospital management including outpatient and inpatient services, participation on a multidisciplinary team and coordination of post-acute services for a chronic disease population is desirable.
