Job Description

The Director of Training and Certification at Red Hat is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of training programs and certification processes. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in IT training, certification, program management, and vendor management. The Director will ensure that Red Hat's training and certification offerings are of the highest quality, align with industry standards, and meet the needs of our diverse customer base.

Training and Certification Management

Develop and Implement Training Programs

: Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of comprehensive training programs for Red Hat products and solutions.

Certification Development

: Lead the creation and maintenance of certification exams and processes, ensuring they are rigorous, relevant, and up-to-date with industry standards.

Quality Assurance

: Establish and maintain quality assurance processes for training materials and certification exams to ensure consistency and excellence.

Performance Metrics

: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of training programs and certification processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education

Bachelors Degree

: Information Technology, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.

Masters Degree

: Preferred in a relevant field.

Experience

IT Training and Certification

: Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT training and certification, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Vendor Management

: Proven experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.

Program Management

: Strong program management skills with a track record of successfully leading complex programs.
