Your role will carry a core focus on defining architectural solutions, help structure technology and engineering teams and technically deliver large-scale digital transformation projects across a range of Travel and Hospitality (T&H) sector clients. You will also play a key role in driving our clients\' adoption of modern architecture and trends such as Headless, Microservices, DevOps and Cloud Native technology platforms.

Along with driving best fit solutions for our clients, you will also work closely with business development managers, client partners and programme delivery managers to realise new business opportunities and help grow client accounts.

Your Impact

You will work closely with senior stakeholders to pitch, design, and deliver solutions that will transform our clients\' businesses, while also assuming the role of technical delivery head for large scale geographically distributed engineering teams. Your key strengths will be in shaping technical engagements, driving large-scale technical strategy, design, planning and delivery, driving best practices adoption, and ensuring the growth of teams and talent. You will also pride yourself in contributing thought leadership and in helping to instil a long-term vision for our T&H technology capabilities at Publicis Sapient.

Qualifications

Your Skills & Experience:

• A track record in consulting organisations with proven experience of interfacing with and advising senior client stakeholders up to the C Level
• Experience in defining technology strategies and shaping solutions for clients, with a focus on modern architectures (layered, headless, micro-services based, cloud-hosted)
• Knowledge of the commerce and marketplace platforms for the travel and hospitality industry, and having worked on Commerce platforms and projects in the past
• Knowledge of Travel technology platforms (Central reservation, property management, Guest management etc) and products such as Amadeus, Travelport, Oracle, Sabre. Should have practical experience in addressing technology and architecture complexities in relation to Search, booking, availability etc.
• Understanding of key T&H business sectors such as Aviation, Hospitality, Cruise Lines, Dining
• Understanding of key T&H business areas such as:

• Online selling (internet booking engine, mobile app, online payments, e-ticketing,etc.)
• Travel Marketplaces (Tourism, Hotels, flights, F&B, Attractions, Events etc)
• Product management, pricing and merchandising for travel products
• Technical management and delivery experience of globally distributed engineering teams of up to 50 people or more
• Strong presentation, client pitching skills and Agile Delivery experience
• Knowledge of how the latest trends and technologies are influencing the passenger journey across the travel & hospitality value chain like Blockchain distribution, Self-Sovereign identity, Metaverse etc.
• A proven track record of delivering enterprise scale engineering transformation projects using contemporary technologies and methodologies such as:

• Online booking platforms (Off-the-shelf products and Custom implementations)
• Digital experience platforms (CMS, Search etc)
• Java, JavaScript and CSS, Typescript for large scale website development
• DevOps/Automation (CI, CD) for large scale delivery
• Architecture and design knowledge of Headless approaches, API gateways, Microservices, iPaaS / ETL / ESB, Databases, and Big Data platforms
• Cloud platform architectures (Azure, GCP, AWS)
• Big Data / Machine learning platforms
• Quality Engineering
• We are looking for Arabic speakers or candidates who are willing to relocate/travel to Saudi Arabia
