Your impact:

You could be designing, building, and deploying state of the art tools for digital platforms across a number of verticals. You could be running continuous development of end-to-end extensible frameworks that can holistically deploy Front End, Back End, API and Big Data pipelines using Machine Learning. You could play a key technical role in helping to drive clients\xe2\x80\x99 adoption of strategic DevOps initiatives, enabling our clients to become Agile by employing start-up like approaches to software delivery on an enterprise scale.
You\'ll find yourself working on a wide range of projects across the financial services, travel and tourism and retail sectors. You\'ll get to work with the latest technologies, while providing strategic technical advice and complete software delivery automation solutions to some of the biggest and most forward-thinking companies in the world during this exciting era of technology transformation.

Qualifications

Your Skills & Experience:

• Technical Stewardship of globally distributed engineering teams.
• Prior experience in a senior consulting/engineering position within a software & services company.
• Extensive and current hands-on experience creating application build pipelines in a senior DevOps capacity.
• Expert level knowledge of public cloud solutions such as AWS, GCP or Azure
• Proficiency in Shell Scripting and in one or more open-source scripting languages like Groovy, Python, Ruby or others.
• Hands on skills and project experience with Automated configuration tools like Ansible, Chef or Puppet and build orchestration servers such as Jenkins 2.0 and TeamCity.
• Hands on skills and project experience with application build and packaging tools like Npm, Gulp, Maven and Gradle.
• Good understanding of PaaS and container infrastructure such as Kubernetes or Cloud Foundry.
• Hands on skills with Docker or other software container technologies.
• Hands on experience with continuous integration services like Travis and/or Circle CI
• Strong understanding of application deployment tools such as UrbanCode deploy, Octopus Deploy etc.
• Working knowledge of Junit and/or Jasmine non-functional, functional and unit test frameworks and tools.
• Basic infrastructure knowledge - Operating Systems, VM\xe2\x80\x99s, Containers, Proxy, Nginx/Apache
• Passion for code quality.

• Strong software development background in one or more of Java, JavaScript, C#, C++
• Outstanding team leadership and people management skills
• Experience of delivering complex engineering projects which have delivered impact to clients
• An interest in getting to grips with new technologies
