Role overview We are looking for a Director of Quality that would define and promote a quality mindset across the company. This role will involve managing all QA functions and working with cross-departmental leadership to deliver high quality products on schedule. You will also be involved in maintaining a quality system to ensure the company\xe2\x80\x99s facilities, equipment, personnel, methods, processes, and procedures conform to both internal guidelines and regulatory standards. What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing
- Assures quality products and processes by establishing and enforcing quality standards and testing materials and products.
- Establishes quality and reliability standards, quality improvement projects by understanding the product and consumer requirements with other stakeholders managing the product side.
- Ensuring all markets are HACCP & ISO certified.
- Implements & audits the in-process quality inspection standards by understanding the operational procedure and devising testing methods and processes.
- Creates product processing documentation system at each production step by writing and updating quality best practices and quality SOPs.
- Maintains quality system by enforcing quality assurance policies and procedures and government requirements.
- Continuous review of quality KPIs and full ownership of the performance of quality and impact on customer satisfaction.
- Continuously reviews the quality control documentations and training material and builds on top of them adapting for new changes.
- Builds a quality assurance team in each market by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees and managing them alongside ensuring team growth and empowerment.
- Achieves financial objectives by preparing the quality assurance budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Familiar with fast paced environment
- 5 to 10 years experience as a Quality director
- Strong experience in food safety requirements and legal standards
- Working knowledge of quality system requirements for the food industry
- Strong leadership skills
