An outgoing, people-friendly personality with an ability to think \xe2\x80\x98on your feet\xe2\x80\x99 during changing situations is also essential.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Responsible for the effective operational management of the hotel, with the aim to achieve and exceed their revenue and Guest experience targets.
  
• Work in collaboration with the General Manager to actively manage key property issues.
  
• Assist in development of meaningful, achievable hotel budgets and other short- and long-term hotel strategic goals
  
• Provide effective leadership to the functional management team to ensure revenue targets are met and exceeded.
  
• Plan, direct and coordinate service delivery of all operational departments to meet and exceed guest expectations.
  
• Comply to FIVE Service Standards
  
• Ensure that costs are controlled throughout the operational departments and results are analyzed regularly to highlight problem areas and take appropriate action
  
• Manage and develop the Heads of Departments to ensure career progression and effective succession planning within the hotel and company.
  
• Responsible for short and long term planning and the management of the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s Rooms operations.
  
• Create expectations, lead people, manage processes, and hold people accountable for the agreed upon activities and timetables.
  
• Implement and manage service recovery procedures.
  
• Seek and respond to Guest feedback to achieve positive outcomes and high levels of customer engagement

Requirements
